Interior & Exterior Repairs Part I

Exterior work with concrete, back door, shower tile. Corner beads and patching up all holes throughout the house
Since the window sill is rotted, water was coming into the wall. Notice the old wood that is probably 100 years old.
Repaired threshold to the back door
Return Friday to open up ceiling in bedroom and do water test. Then replace window sills and the drywall that was damaged next to the window.

Added a 20 amp breaker into the panel box. Installed a new outlet for the microwave. The reason why the main breaker trips is because there's too much amps on the individual circuit breaker.

Raising the Kitchen Floor

The kitchen floor was a little saggy.  Even after replacing a rotten sub floor, we've installed new joists to raise and support the sagging kitchen floor.  We used a jack to raise the floor and now the floor is level.

No More Cast Iron

It's official, we're now 100% iron-deficient.  All cast iron have been removed from this 100 year-old house.  Everything has been replaced by copper and PVC - they're easy to repair and not subject to corrosion.
